Updates for Geneva Airport's Summer 2024 Network

26.03.2024

With the change in the aviation season, Geneva Airport unveils its array of destinations for the summer period of 2024. This lineup provides travelers with easy access to nearly 120 destinations worldwide through direct flights, facilitated by 45 regular airlines.

Direct flights to long-haul destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Doha, Dubai, Montreal, New York, Beijing, and Washington contribute to positioning Geneva as an important destination on the international stage.

China continues its resurgence, with an increase in frequencies to Beijing, which now offers five weekly flights operated by Air China. This capacity is accompanied by the lifting of visa requirements for Swiss nationals (already the case for French nationals) wishing to stay in the Middle Kingdom for less than fifteen days.

The North American service is already significantly stronger than before the pandemic, with the return for this summer period of the American company Delta Airlines with a daily flight to New York JFK.

Relations with the Middle East are also strengthened, with the arrival of Gulf Air which will operate seasonal flights from Bahrain twice a week between June and September.

In addition to flights to European capitals and major tourist destinations in the Mediterranean basin, two new connections are now available for discovery enthusiasts. easyJet now offers direct flights to Bari, providing privileged access to the north of the charming region of Puglia, as well as a connection to Salerno, closest to the magnificent Amalfi Coast, the majestic Vesuvius, and the historic site of Pompeii.

The entire Scandinavia also sees the quality of its service improved, notably through SWISS, which now covers the Nordic capitals from Geneva: Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen.

As an international airport platform, at the heart of a dynamic and prosperous region, Geneva Airport continues its commitment to connect travelers to major economic, diplomatic, and cultural centers.
