The airline will offer two flights a week year-round from March 31. easyJet, Geneva airport and Georgia's ambassadors to Switzerland and the United Nations today celebrated the inaugural flight with passengers.
From March 31, 2025, easyJet will be the first and only airline to offer a direct service to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, strengthening its network from Geneva Airport. With two flights a week, easyJet will be offering visitors the chance to discover this little-known destination with its unique identity, located at the gateway to Asia. The route will be operated year-round with an Airbus A320.
Whether for leisure, business or to catch up with family and friends, passengers will be able to fly from Geneva to Tbilisi with easyJet from Monday March 31, 2025 on Mondays and Thursdays for a 4h25 flight. The inauguration ceremony for the Geneva-Tbilissi flight took place today on the occasion of the first flight at 12.50 p.m., in the presence of the Georgian ambassador Revaz Lominadze, the representative of the Swiss Mission to the UN, Anna Ifkovits, and Shota Getsadze, Georgia's ambassador to Switzerland, who expressed his delight at the new route: "Georgia offers a unique religious and architectural heritage, as well as unspoilt nature with peaks over 5000 metres high. It is also the acknowledged cradle of wine-making”.
