New long-haul routes:

China Eastern has been offering a direct connection to Shanghai since June 2025. This complements the Beijing service operated by Air China, providing travellers with two strategic gateways to China. These connections reinforce Geneva’s role as an international hub for economic, diplomatic and tourism exchange.

Starting February 2026, Etihad Airways will offer three additional weekly flights between Geneva and Abu Dhabi, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, increasing the total to ten flights per week. This expansion provides more flexibility, with evening departures from Geneva and morning arrivals ideal for connections. Learn more
