From 13 to 19 June 2026, Genève Aéroport will adapt its operations for the G7 Summit. Commercial flights will be maintained, but disruptions are expected on access routes to the airport and in the surrounding region.
G7 Summit:
Practical information to help you prepare for your arrival at the airport
Commercial flights maintained: check your airline’s information
During this period, the airport will remain fully operational and commercial flights will be maintained. However, occasional adjustments may occur, particularly to certain schedules.
Passengers are therefore advised to check the information provided by their airline before heading to the airport.
Airport access: plan your journey ahead
Traffic disruptions are expected around the airport, on the main access routes, in the city centre, as well as at border crossings. It is recommended to plan your journey in advance, allow sufficient time to reach the airport and, whenever possible, use public transport.
A dedicated information website to stay up to date on recommendations
To assist travellers, visitors, staff and partners, a dedicated information website is available. Regularly updated, it brings together practical information related to airport access, flights, any temporary adjustments and the recommendations to follow during this period.
