Taxi pick-ups and drop-offs take place exclusively in designated areas.
This ensures smooth, safe, and compliant access for all passengers.

  • Pick-up:
    Official taxis are available outside the Arrivals level, at the designated rank.
  • Drop-off:
    Taxis can drop you off directly in front of the terminal, in the dedicated areas.

These zones are clearly signposted to ensure a smooth arrival or departure.

Information and fares

Taxis in Geneva can be booked by phone, hailed in the street, or found at around 60 taxi ranks across the city, at the airport, and at train stations.

Taxi and private hire vehicle (VTC) services are regulated by cantonal legislation.

From Genève Aéroport, flat fares apply depending on your destination:

  • 25 CHF for the area close to the airport
  • 35 CHF to the international organizations
  • 50 CHFto the city centre (right bank)
  • 60 CHF to the city centre (left bank)

For other destinations, the fare is calculated based on the regulated price per kilometre travelled.
