Genève Aéroport is welcoming a new brand to its commercial offering: Decathlon is opening its very first store in an airport area in Europe, located in the arrivals hall.
To mark its official opening, an inauguration day will be held on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Travellers, sports enthusiasts, visitors and curious guests are invited to discover the new store and take part in the activities planned throughout the day.
The programme for the event includes a welcome breakfast from 9:00 to 10:30, a capoeira show and introductory session from 11:00 to 13:00, as well as various activities, surprises and a photobooth available throughout the day.
Accessible to both passengers and visitors, this new point of sale will offer an assortment that evolves with the seasons. It will make it easy to find sports, leisure and travel items, whether to complete your equipment before departure or make a practical last-minute purchase.
