Since June 2025, China Eastern has strengthened the connectivity between Western Switzerland and Asia with a direct route from Geneva to Shanghai-Pudong (PVG), offering travellers and tourism professionals a wide range of connections and new opportunities.

📄 Entry requirements for China

From 2024 through December 31, 2025, Swiss and French travellers enjoy a visa exemption for stays up to 30 days (for tourism, business, or family visits). This major simplification makes travel to China even easier for leisure and business purposes!
