Ethiopian Airlines and Air China are strengthening their presence by adding an additional frequency to their hubs in Addis Ababa and Beijing. Flynas and Gulf Air will launch seasonal flights to Gulf countries, while China Eastern will introduce a new direct route to Shanghai starting June 16, making travel to Asia even more convenient.
Middle East: Heading to the Gulf countries
Flynas, a Saudi airline ranked the 4th best low-cost carrier in the world in 2024 by Skytrax, will soon offer seasonal flights to
Riyadh. The airline opens up new travel opportunities: with a stopover in Riyadh, passengers can continue to South Asia, the Middle East, or East Africa.

Gulf Air, the national airline of
Bahrain, returns this summer and will once again offer two weekly flights between Bahrain and Geneva, with a stopover in Milan Malpensa both ways, every Tuesday and Friday. These flights will operate from June 3 to September 12, 2025.

Africa: A 6th weekly frequency to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines
Since 2018, Ethiopian Airlines has connected Geneva to Addis Ababa and offers connectivity to over 60 destinations across Africa. Non-stop flights to Addis Ababa currently operate five times per week until the end of June 2025, and frequency will increase to 6 direct flights starting in July 2025.

Air China is increasing its frequencies to Beijing by adding an extra flight, offering more flexibility for travelers heading to Northeast Asia.
