The holiday season is approaching and Genève Aéroport is preparing to welcome many travellers heading to more than 120 destinations. For a smooth departure, plan ahead for your journey, your formalities, and make the most of the services available.
We recommend that you
arrive 3 hours before your flight’s departure or follow your airline’s guidelines. Make the most of your time at the airport: discover our shops and relax in our restaurants and cafés before boarding.
Choose more comfort and purchase one of our services:
- Priority Lane: fast access to the security check
- VIP Pack: Priority Lane + access to one of our partner lounges
- ResaPark P1: your reserved parking space in the car park closest to the Terminal

Prepare your journey:
- By train: take advantage of special early-morning and late-evening CFF trains. Note that from 2026, the service will be expanded every weekend. Find dates and all practical information on the Early/Late Trains page.
- By car: all our car parks are accessible without reservation, subject to availability. Check car park occupancy in real time.
- By public transport: the TPG network easily connects to the airport. For very early departures, use the free Aérobus service (03:30–06:00).
- By coach from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region: plan your trip from Lyon, Annecy, Chamonix, Chambéry or Grenoble.

Choose home baggage collection
If you want to travel hands-free, the AirPortr service — offered by British Airways, KLM, SWISS, Austrian and easyJet — allows your baggage to be collected at your home, checked in, and delivered back to your home address (or the address of your choice) upon your return.
CFF also offers a baggage transport service from your train station to Genève Aéroport (and vice versa), ideal for travelling without constraints. It is recommended to book this service several days in advance
via their website.
