AJet (part of Turkish Airlines Group) will launch a new route from Geneva to Istanbul (SAW) starting this August. Flights will initially operate four times a week and move to daily service from early October. Genève Aéroport continues to strengthen its ties with Türkiye!
Already operating seasonal flights from Geneva to
Ankara (until the end of October 2025), AJet will now offer flights to Sabiha Gökçen Airport, located on the Asian side of
Istanbul. Sabiha Gökçen Airport provides excellent connectivity to many domestic destinations in Türkiye, as well as international flights to Central Asia and the Middle East.
Located on the eastern side of the city,
Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is a convenient alternative to Istanbul’s main airport (IST), especially for those wishing to explore
the Asian side — often lesser-known but just as captivating as the European side. Discover Kadıköy, known for its fish market, cozy cafés, small local shops, and bookstores. Stroll through the Moda neighborhood, enjoy the many seaside terraces, and catch stunning sunsets over the Sea of Marmara. From the top of Çamlıca Hill, take in panoramic views of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. Finally, escape to one of the Princes’ Islands, rent a bike or go for a hike and enjoy complete freedom.
