Sarajevo Genève Aéroport

From 22 April 2027, easyJet will operate two weekly flights from Geneva to Sarajevo. Travellers will be able to reach the Bosnian capital with flights scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays.

Nestled in the heart of the Balkans and surrounded by mountains, Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its lively old town, cobbled streets, traditional cafés and markets reflect a fascinating blend of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian and Balkan influences, giving the city its warm and distinctive atmosphere. Just a short distance from the city centre, the surrounding mountains offer magnificent views and plenty of opportunities to escape into nature, making Sarajevo an ideal destination for combining culture, gastronomy, outdoor activities and discovery.

Start by wandering through Baščaršija, the historic heart of the capital, with its cobbled lanes, traditional cafés and artisan shops. Continue to the Latin Bridge (photo), one of Sarajevo’s most iconic landmarks, closely linked to European history in the early 20th century.

Then head up into the hills aboard the Trebević cable car, which offers superb panoramic views over the city and provides access to the former bobsleigh track from the 1984 Winter Olympics.
