Yes. In accordance with FOCA requirements and European legislation, assistance for passengers with reduced mobility is provided free of charge.

Assistance provided by GVAssistance does not guarantee departure if you do not arrive at the airport at the time specified by the airline or the travel agency.

If no specific time has been indicated, you must arrive no later than:

• Two hours before the scheduled departure time, at the check-in counters of Terminal 1 or at one of the reception desks located at P1 or P20, at the TPG stop.
• One hour before the scheduled departure time, at the GVAssistance reception area, once check-in formalities have been completed.

Passengers requiring special assistance at the airport railway station are requested to contact the SBB Mobility Assistance Service.

To benefit from assistance at Genève Aéroport, you must contact your airline or travel agency at least 48 hours before the departure of your flight. They will take the necessary steps on your behalf to arrange the assistance you need.

If your request is not made within this timeframe, assistance may be delayed, as priority will be given to passengers whose assistance was properly requested in advance.

As a first step, complaints must be addressed to the Passenger Services Department of the airline and/or to the airport management. If you are not satisfied with the response received, you may consider referring the matter to the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).

An invisible disability is a disability that is not outwardly visible, but still affects a person’s daily life.

It can be physical, sensory, psychological or cognitive, such as chronic pain, neurological disorders, chronic illnesses, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, attention disorders, epilepsy, mild hearing impairment, and others.

Even though it is not visible, it may require adjustments, understanding or assistance, in the same way as a visible disability.

This is why Genève Aéroport offers the Sunflower badge, which discreetly indicates to staff that you have an invisible disability and may need additional support.

The person assisting you can accompany you to the restroom door, but cannot enter with you.

If you require assistance inside the restroom, we recommend travelling with a companion.

Yes. If necessary, a GVAssistance agent can assist you with your baggage if you are travelling alone.

No. The person assisting you will not accompany you to shops or for tax refund procedures.

You can cancel an individual service or your entire order, depending on what you need.

• Cancel a specific service: go to My orders > Active bookings, select the relevant service (Priority Lane, ResaPark or Pack VIP) and choose Cancel.
• Cancel your entire order: go to My orders > Order history, open the relevant order by selecting View details, then click Cancel order.

You can cancel free of charge until 23:59 the day before your flight. After this deadline, cancellations are no longer possible.

In the event of a same-day flight cancellation by your airline, if you have been unable to use your booked service, please contact us. We will provide a suitable solution for your next trip.

To delete your account, please ensure that you have no active bookings. If you do, cancel them before submitting your request, then get in touch.

If your flight is cancelled, what you need to do depends on when you are informed.

• Cancellation notified at least 24 hours before your arrival
  You can cancel your booking free of charge from your customer account.
• Cancellation on the day of travel
  If your flight is definitely cancelled, please contact us. We will help you find a suitable solution for a future trip.

If your flight time or date changes, you can update your booking from your customer account up to 2 hours before your booked time.

This applies, for example, to:

• a change to your departure time;
• a change to your travel date;
• a delay that affects your booked time.

If the modification deadline has passed, please contact us. We will help you adjust your booking.

ResaPark is the official parking reservation service of Geneva Airport.

It is possible to reserve a space in the following car parks:

ResaPark Premium (P1):

• Level –2 of car park P1
  
• Reservation fee: CHF 20

ResaPark Economy (P26 and P51):

• Level -1 of car park P26 (top level)
• Level 6 of car park P51 (top level, open-air)
• Reservation fee: CHF 10

The reservation fee is not deducted from the parking fee.

The parking fee must be paid upon your return to Geneva at a payment machine.

It is not possible to reserve a parking space in car park P21 (France sector).

The price depends on the length of your stay and the car park selected.

The total amount is calculated automatically and displayed in the results.

Payment for parking

Parking must be paid upon your return, at the automatic payment machines, when collecting your vehicle, using your parking ticket.

Good to know

The booking does not constitute a deposit and does not cover parking fees.

Parking fees are paid on the day you return, using your parking ticket.

• At the automatic payment machines, by inserting your parking ticket
  (recommended if you need a receipt)
  

• At the exit barrier of the ResaPark area, by inserting your parking ticket
  (the machine keeps the ticket and no duplicate can be issued)

• Follow the signs for Long-term parking P1.
• Take a ticket at the entrance to parking P1.
• Inside the car park, follow the ResaPark signs to level -2.
• At the entrance to the ResaPark area, insert your ticket.
• Your licence plate will be recognised automatically and the barrier will open.

If your licence plate is not recognised, enter the PIN code shown on your confirmation.

If the issue persists, contact the Parking Control Centre using the call button.

From Lausanne (towards Genève Aéroport)

• Follow the signs for Palexpo Arena until you pass under the Palexpo building (tunnel).

• Keep right and take the first exit on the right.

• At the STOP sign, turn left: the entrance to car park P26 is on your right.

From Meyrin / Genève (towards Lausanne)

• Follow the signs for Palexpo-Arena.

• After the first pass under Palexpo, stay in the left-hand lane.

• After the second pass under Palexpo, keep right and take the first exit.

• At the STOP sign, turn left: the entrance to car park P26 is on your right.

Access to the ResaPark area (inside P26)
At the entrance to the ResaPark area, insert your ticket: your licence plate will be recognised automatically and the barrier will open.
If your licence plate is not recognised, enter the PIN code shown on your confirmation.
If the PIN does not work, contact the Parking Control Centre using the call button.

• Follow the signs for Long-term parking P51.
• Take a ticket at the entrance to parking P51.
• Drive to level 6 (top level, uncovered).
• At the entrance to the ResaPark area, insert your ticket.
  Your licence plate will be recognised automatically and the barrier will open.

If your licence plate is not recognised, enter the PIN code shown on your confirmation.

If the problem continues, contact the Parking Control Centre using the call button.

You can modify or cancel your ResaPark booking free of charge until the day before your scheduled entry date, subject to availability.

To do so, log in to your customer account, then:

• select the booking concerned,
• click Modify or Cancel,
• follow the on-screen instructions.

If you modify your booking, the applicable rates will be recalculated automatically.

If you cancel your booking, the amount paid will be fully refunded to the original payment method.

Yes. A grace period applies to your booking.

For entry:
You may access the ResaPark area up to 2 hours before and up to 4 hours after your scheduled entry time.

After this period, the booking is automatically cancelled and no refund will be issued.

For exit:
You may leave the ResaPark area up to 4 hours before and up to 4 hours after your scheduled exit time.

If you arrive or leave outside these time limits, a penalty will apply, except in the event of a flight delay.

ResaPark car parks are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

However, the airport terminal is closed at night from 00:00 to 04:00 and reopens daily at 04:00.

ResaPark areas can fill up quickly, particularly during peak travel periods such as school holidays, long weekends and major events.

However, spaces may become available again in the event of a cancellation. We therefore recommend checking the ResaPark website regularly, as availability is updated in real time.

An email alert service will be available shortly. This will allow you to be notified as soon as a space becomes available in your chosen car park. All spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

ResaPark car park capacities:

• ResaPark P1: 480 spaces
• ResaPark P26: 268 spaces
• ResaPark P51: 305 spaces

Please note that all Geneva Airport car parks remain accessible without a reservation, subject to availability on the day of arrival.

Once your vehicle has been parked in ResaPark, it is no longer possible to modify your booking online.

If you wish to extend or shorten your parking duration, no prior action is required.
You will simply pay the amount corresponding to the actual duration of your stay on the day of your return in order to exit the car park.

However, we recommend informing Customer Service of any change in duration.

If you leave the car park outside the authorised exit time limits, a post-parking penalty may be applied.

You can book your space:

• up to 2 hours before your arrival,
• and up to 6 months in advance.

What parking durations are allowed?

• Minimum parking duration: 6 hours
• Maximum parking duration: 90 consecutive days

What booking time slot is recommended?
We recommend booking a time slot covering 2 hours before and 2 hours after your flight schedule

If you have lost your ticket, please go to the Parking Control Centre.

When you arrive, provide:

• your vehicle’s entry date and time,

• your vehicle registration number.

A new exit ticket will be issued straight away.

Opening hours: daily from 07:00 to 23:00.

Location: outside the Terminal, at Arrivals level, near the P1 parking lifts.

To help us locate your payment quickly, please include:

• your vehicle registration number

• the date of entry to the car park

• the entry time (even if approximate)

• the date of exit

• the exit time (even if approximate)

These details allow us to identify your parking stay and send you a copy as soon as possible.

Access to the ResaPark level is automatic thanks to number plate recognition.

If you use a vehicle different from the one indicated in your reservation, the barrier will not be able to recognise your number plate. In this case, you can enter the car park by scanning the QR code included in your confirmation email.

If possible, we recommend updating your number plate before your arrival (up to two hours in advance).

If you experience any difficulty when entering or leaving the car park, press the help button on the terminal to speak with an operator.

New: Priority Lane access is now integrated directly into your boarding pass.

To use the service:

1. Purchase your Priority Lane online on the Geneva Airport website before your departure.
2. On the day of your flight, go to the security screening area on the Departures level.
3. Simply scan your boarding pass at the Priority Lane gate.
4. The system will automatically check whether a Priority Lane access is linked to your flight.
5. If your access is valid, the barrier will open and you can proceed directly to security screening.

⚠️ If no Priority Lane has been purchased online, or if the information does not match your boarding pass, access cannot be granted.

When booking online, you will need to enter:

• Your flight number
• Your first and last name
• Your date of travel

This information must exactly match the details on your boarding pass (or on your identity document if you do not yet have your boarding pass).

New: it is now possible to purchase a Priority Lane on the same day.

You can purchase a Priority Lane up to 6 months before your flight and up to 2 hours before departure.

We recommend respecting the time indicated in your reservation as closely as possible.

However, a margin of approximately ± 1 hour is tolerated.

If your flight is delayed on the same day, your Priority Lane access will remain valid until the new departure time.

After purchasing your Priority Lane on our website, simply scan your boarding pass at the Priority Lane gate.

The system will automatically check whether a Priority Lane access is linked to your flight.

No additional ticket is required!

If the barrier does not open, please check the following:

• The date of use matches your travel date
• The first and last name entered match those on your boarding pass
• The flight number entered is identical to the one on your boarding pass

If any of this information is incorrect, Priority Lane access cannot be validated.

Yes, you can change the date or time of use up to 2 hours before your scheduled access time.

This option can be useful in case of a flight change or cancellation

Yes, a Priority Lane access is available in the France Sector, near the car rental counters.

Yes, cancellation is free of charge until the day before the date of use.

After this deadline, cancellation is no longer possible.

No, the Priority Lane is only available in Terminal 1.

Terminal 2 is mainly used for certain charter flights during the winter season.

Children under 2 years old can pass through the Priority Lane with you.

Children over 2 years old must have their own Priority Lane access.

Gift cards can be used in most shops and restaurants at Geneva Airport, located both before and after security control.

Gift cards are being rolled out progressively.

No, the gift card cannot be used for online purchases on gva.ch. It is not accepted as a payment method for services such as ResaPark, Priority Lane or VIP Pack.

The gift card is valid exclusively at the shops and restaurants located within the airport.

The amount is customisable between 10 CHF and CHF 3'000 CHF.

You are free to choose the value of your gift card from the options available in our online shop.

The card can then be used in one or several transactions, until the balance is spent.

The gift card is valid for 2 years. For further details, please refer to the general terms and conditions available in the online shop.

The Geneva Airport gift card is sent by post using A+ mail. It is dispatched Monday to Friday, within approximately 2 working days of order confirmation (excluding public holidays).

For more urgent needs, you can opt for the Print@Home gift card, sent directly by e-mail.

You can check your gift card balance by clicking here.

Once the card balance has been fully used, the card is no longer valid and cannot be used again.
Unfortunately, it cannot be reloaded.

In the event of loss or theft, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can suspend your gift card.

We will be able to block any further spending. However, any amounts already spent cannot be refunded.

The VIP Pack includes two services:

Priority Lane: fast-track security access

1. Purchase your VIP Pack on our website before your visit.
2. On the day of your departure, make your way to the security checkpoint on the Departures level.
3. Scan your boarding pass at the Priority Lane gate.
4. The system automatically checks whether an access is linked to your boarding pass.
5. If your access is valid, the barrier opens and you proceed directly through security.

VIP Lounge: lounge access

1. Once through security, make your way to the lounge of your choice, based on your destination (European or intercontinental flight).
2. Present your boarding pass at the lounge reception.
3. The lounge team will verify your access and welcome you in.

If no VIP Pack has been purchased online, or if the details do not match your boarding pass, access will not be granted.

Schengen Zone

Two Lounges are available for Schengen (European) flights.

• Swissport Horizon Lounge. Open daily: 06:00 – 20:30
• Marhaba Lounge. Open daily: 06:00 – 20:30

East Wing

Two Lounges are available for intercontinental flights (Gate C).

• Crystal Aspire Lounge. Open daily: 07:00 – 18:00
• Marhaba Lounge. Opening hours vary by day:
  Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 05:30 – 20:30
  Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 07:00 – 20:30

The lounge available to you depends on your departure gate. There is no need to choose a lounge at the time of purchase: you make your choice on the day of departure, based on your flight.

• Schengen (European) flights : Two lounges are available, both located near the smoking lounge: the Swissport Horizon Lounge and the Marhaba Lounge.

• Intercontinental flights and flights to the United Kingdom — Gate C (East Wing) Two lounges are accessible from Gate C: the Crystal Aspire Lounge and the Marhaba Lounge.

The lounges offer an all-inclusive, help-yourself spread available throughout the day.

At any time, enjoy a buffet of salads, soups, sweet and savoury snacks, along with hot and cold drinks served freely. Alcoholic beverages are available on request.

At lunchtime (11:00 – 14:30) and in the evening (from 17:00), hot dishes are added to the buffet for a more substantial meal before your flight.

Depending on the lounge, you will also have access to:

• Free Wi-Fi
• Workspaces and relaxation areas
• Digital press

The VIP Pack is available for the vast majority of flights departing from Geneva. It is not accessible in the following cases:

• Flights to France. None of our four lounges is accessible if your flight is bound for France.

• Flights departing from Terminal 2. None of our four lounges is accessible if your flight departs from Terminal 2. This terminal is only in use during the winter season and the charter season. Outside these periods, it does not operate any flights.

Children under 2 years of age are admitted free of charge.

From the age of 2, a VIP Pack is required for each passenger, regardless of age, at the same price for all.

You can purchase the VIP Pack up to two hours before your flight.

Yes, cancellation is free of charge up to the day before your visit.

After this deadline, no refund can be issued.

Yes, you can modify your booking up to two hours before your flight. After this deadline, no changes can be made.

The Kiss & Fly is a specially designated drop-off area that allows drivers to drop off passengers directly in front of the terminal, at the Departures level, for a short stop, without having to use a parking.

The aim is to allow you to stop briefly so your relatives can get out of the car with their luggage and you can say a final goodbye before they enter the terminal.

⚠️ This area is not a parking: no parking, no waiting, and no unattended vehicles.

They are located outside the airport’s immediate perimeter. The companies operating these car parks provide shuttle transportation for passengers.

Car parks at Genève Aéroport can accommodate vehicles with a height of strictly less than 2.00 metres. If your vehicle is higher than 2.00 metres, the only area able to accommodate it is level -3 of car park P26. The maximum permitted height there is 2.40 metres. However, this area is open-access only and cannot be reserved.

If you do not have a vehicle with a height of less than 2.00 metres, we recommend, where possible, travelling to the airport using public transport, car sharing, taxi or VTC services.

Parking spaces for electric vehicles are available at P51 ResaPark (6th floor, open-air car park). It is mandatory to make a reservation to access this car park.

Outside of this car park, P1 and P26 do not have charging stations.

If you wish to recharge your vehicle, a fast charging station from the MOVE network is available at car park P2.

Electrical outlets are also available free of charge for two‑wheel vehicles at the two‑wheel parking area near the CFF railway station, at Arrivals level.

The ResaPark reservation system is available exclusively for car parks P1, P51 and P26.

As its name suggests, the Kiss & Fly facility is not intended for vehicles to park, even for a short period of time. Its purpose is to allow a quick drop-off in the best possible location and under the best conditions.

Just long enough for a goodbye kiss before take-off!

Yes, you may stay longer than one hour in car park P2 (short-term parking); however, beyond one hour, the rates increase significantly.

⚠️Please note: vehicles parked in P2 for more than 24 hours may be towed.

No, picking up passengers is not permitted at the Kiss & Fly. Passenger pick-up must be carried out from one of the car parks.

At the entrance to the ResaPark area, insert your ticket. Your licence plate will be automatically recognised. You may then retrieve your ticket and the barrier will open.

If your licence plate is not recognised, please enter the PIN code shown on your confirmation.

If the code does not work, please contact the parking control centre by pressing the call button.

Once you reach the dedicated area, the barrier will open. Park your vehicle in any available space.

No, there are no restrictions. LPG vehicles are welcome in the various car parks of Genève Aéroport.

No, there is no shuttle service between the airport and car park P51 for travellers using their own vehicle. Access is on foot only (500 metres, approximately 5–7 minutes).

For travellers who have rented a car, a shuttle service is available once the rental formalities have been completed.

If you lose your parking ticket, please go to the parking control centre with the vehicle registration document.

The cheapest long-term car parks are P26 and P51 (identical rates).

Official car parks are located on the site of Genève Aéroport and offer direct access to the terminal. Remote car parks are operated by private companies and include a shuttle transfer to the airport.

No. You may park your vehicle in the car parks of Genève Aéroport without using a valet service. It is possible to book a parking space online in car parks P1, P26 and P51, which are also accessible without prior reservation.

Unauthorised companies do not hold any official concession to operate on the site of Genève Aéroport. Their activity is considered illegal.

Genève Aéroport cannot guarantee the quality of their services nor accept liability in the event of a dispute.

We strongly recommend booking exclusively with an officially authorised partner.

Ride‑hailing services (VTC) are available at the airport. Fares are set by each booking platform, and services must comply with the quality standards and requirements defined by the airport access regulations.

You can reach the airport by bicycle and park it in one of the designated bicycle parking areas on airport grounds.

Genève Aéroport and SBB/CFF operate trains very early in the morning to facilitate access to the first flights (between 6am and 8am) without using a car.

VéloPartage is Geneva’s self‑service bike‑sharing network, allowing users to rent a bicycle or an electric bike 24/7, every day, from one of the 500 stations located throughout the canton of Geneva.

You can then return the bike to one of the stations at the airport, with the main station located in front of the main terminal.

tpgAérobus services are fully funded by Genève Aéroport.

You therefore do not need a transport ticket to travel on tpgAérobus lines.

Your airline ticket or boarding pass for a flight on the same day is sufficient.

Thanks to the tpgAérobus lines, early morning travellers can benefit from a free service to reach Genève Aéroport from the city’s main urban areas between 4:30 and 6:30 am.

Travellers staying in a hotel, youth hostel, or campsite in Geneva may receive a Geneva Transport Card from their accommodation.

This card allows free use of public transport in Geneva (Zone 10) for the duration of the stay, including the train journey between Geneva‑Cornavin and Geneva Airport.

Hotel shuttles are located outside the Arrivals level, 7 days a week.

In Geneva, taxis can be booked by phone, hailed on the street, or found at around 60 designated taxi ranks throughout the city, at the airport, and at train stations.

On 1 November 2022, a new law regulating taxi and ride‑hailing (VTC) activities came into force in the canton of Geneva.

The implementing regulations define fixed fares for trips departing from the airport, depending on the destination:

• 25 CHF for journeys within the area adjacent to the airport
• 35 CHF  for trips to international organizations
• 50 CHF  for journeys to the city centre on the right bank
• 60 CHF for journeys to the city centre on the left bank

Control code
A unique control code will be sent to you by email.

This code allows Geneva Airport to carry out checks regarding the train journey booked. It is essential to confirm that the train journey corresponds to your flight reservation. We recommend keeping this reference carefully, as it guarantees the validity of your discount in the event of an inspection.

Accuracy of information
Passenger information must strictly match the details shown on the flight ticket. Any discrepancy between the information provided and your flight booking may be detected. Please ensure that all submitted information is accurate.

Consequences in case of fraud
Any fraud or false declaration may result in legal action as well as the cancellation of the granted discount.

The discount codes apply to all fare types and travel classes: full fare, half‑fare, supersaver tickets, and first class.

Yes, each passenger is eligible for the discount, including children.

You can request one unique discount code for each individual journey by completing the appropriate form for each trip. The discount code amount is calculated based on the number of passengers:

• CHF 10 for 1 passenger,
• CHF 20 for 2 passengers,
• CHF 30 for 3 passengers,
• 40 CHF for 4 passengers.

When boarding a flight departing from Genève Aéroport, you make use of infrastructure, equipment and services that require ongoing investment and operating costs. These costs are largely covered by the passenger charge, with the remaining portion financed through commercial revenues.

The passenger charge appears under the “taxes” section of the airline ticket and amounts, for Genève Aéroport, to CHF 29.75, applicable to departures only. Yes. If the delay exceeds certain thresholds, the airline must provide assistance (meals, refreshments, communications) and, where applicable depending on the duration of the delay and the flight distance, compensation.

In the event of a cancellation, the airline must offer you rebooking or a refund, as well as assistance, and possibly compensation depending on the cause of the cancellation and the notice period provided.
