100% of the lines of our new Baggage Handling System (BHS) are now operational. The project, launched in 2019, will be fully completed in spring 2026. This BHS allows us to:

comply with safety requirements through next‑generation EDS3 scanners
reduce baggage processing times
Work to extend Satellite 10 began in October 2025. By 2028, it will have more than doubled in surface area. It will also have gained five additional boarding gates

Our connection to SIG’s GeniLac thermal network is a key project to support our energy transition.
By heating and cooling our buildings with water from Lake Geneva and heat pumps, we will shut down our fuel‑oil boiler plant and save two million liters of heating oil per year. In the end, we aim to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions by 60% starting in 2028.
Our connection to GeniLac is fully aligned with our decarbonization strategy for 2037.
Le P41, located beneath Palexpo’s Hall 6, was commissioned in 2025. It now offers 532 parking spaces, compared with 84 previously. It offsets the parking losses caused by the GeniLac works and the CAP2030 project.
SSLIA (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Service) fire stTheation will move by 2030 to allow for the creation of new aircraft stands for wide-body aircraft.
Its location on the airport site has not yet been determined. However, it will have to meet a normative imperative: to allow firefighters to intervene at both ends of the runway in 3 minutes and on all buildings located on our southern front within 10 minutes.
