Public procurement rules at Genève Aéroport

Genève Aéroport is a public-law entity governed by the Law on the Organization of Public Institutions (LOIDP – A 2 24) and the Law on Geneva International Airport (LAIG – H 3 25). As such, it is subject to public procurement regulations.

All purchases made by Genève Aéroport are subject to this regulation, from the very first franc spent, regardless of the type of contract.

These regulations define procurement thresholds which, depending on the nature of the contract (supplies, services, or works) and its total value, determine the applicable award procedure.

What is a call for tenders?

A call for tenders is a procedure through which a contracting authority invites several bidders to submit a technical and financial offer in response to a defined requirement (supplies, services, or works).

Public tenders are subject to strict legal rules and must follow specific procedures.

It is therefore essential to:

  • Provide all required documents, including compliance certificates
  • Respect the administrative conditions of the tender
  • Submit a complete application within the specified deadlines
