Supplier compliance

The contracting company must provide, for itself and for each of its subcontractors working on the Genève Aéroport site, all required valid certificates, regardless of the type or value of the contract (services, supplies, or works).

The contracting company must contractually require its subcontractors to comply with these rules.

It must also ensure that subcontractors provide the same proof of compliance and apply these requirements to their own subcontractors.

The contracting company remains fully responsible for subcontracted services as if they were performed directly.

A subcontractor is any company involved in executing all or part of a service ordered by Genève Aéroport.

Before the start of services and throughout the contract, the contracting company must declare to Genève Aéroport any involvement of subcontractors on the airport site, including across the entire subcontracting chain, as well as any changes concerning them.

A subcontractor may only operate after prior approval from Genève Aéroport and submission of the required certificates.

The company undertakes not to promise, offer, or grant to employees of Genève Aéroport or their relatives, directly or indirectly, any benefits that could be considered an illegal practice or act of corruption.

The company must also acknowledge and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Genève Aéroport, which prevail over any other general or specific conditions not expressly approved in writing.

Any company carrying out construction, maintenance, cleaning, demolition, or site supervision activities must sign the Occupational Health and Safety Directive for work carried out at the airport.

A Health and Safety Plan (HSP) must also be signed by these companies, except for site supervision companies.

In addition, the Safety Office of Genève Aéroport provides contractors with a safety information leaflet for works carried out on the platform.

The Responsible Procurement Charter of Genève Aéroport outlines the requirements and recommendations for its business partners regarding sustainability.

It serves as a shared reference framework for both internal teams and partners, supporting a continuous improvement approach.

Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA):
To identify the countries eligible to participate in public tenders, please refer to the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).

This agreement currently includes 19 parties representing 47 members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), as well as 32 WTO members or observers, some of which are in the process of accession.

Certificates:
Foreign companies must also provide the required certificates.

If a company can demonstrate that certain documents required by Genève Aéroport do not exist in its country of establishment, it may provide equivalent evidence.

In such cases, the company must:

• Clearly indicate which certificates the submitted documents correspond to
• Provide a French translation of the documents

Foreign companies must also register with the Cantonal Office for Labour Inspection and Relations (OCIRT) and obtain the OCIRT certificate.

Posted workers
Companies headquartered outside Switzerland and carrying out gainful activity in Geneva, including studies or supervision assignments, must declare posted workers to the OCIRT at least eight days before the start of the assignment.

This procedure is valid for a maximum of 90 days per calendar year and per company.

Beyond this period, the company must apply for authorization from the Foreign Workforce Service (SME) of the OCIRT.

To operate in the canton of Geneva, service providers in the following fields must demonstrate professional qualification status:

• Architects
• Interior architects
• Landscape architects
• Civil engineers
• Surveying and rural engineering professionals
• Related professions

This qualification is issued by the State of Geneva.

The company must ensure that access badges (CIA) are returned at the end of the contract or when no longer required.

Companies (direct or subcontractors) listed as non-compliant (OCIRT and SECO – LTN & LDét lists) are not allowed to work with Genève Aéroport.

These companies have been sanctioned by regulatory bodies for non-compliance and are excluded from public procurement. Genève Aéroport cannot engage with them, directly or indirectly.

These companies are listed on partially public registers.

Any company providing services to Genève Aéroport must be registered in the supplier database to enable payment for services rendered.

New suppliers must provide their Genève Aéroport contact with a bank document (PDF format) including the bank name, account holder, account number, IBAN, and SWIFT, as well as the following information:

• Company name
• Full address
• Contact person
• Phone number (with international code)
• Email
• VAT number (if applicable)
• Billing currency(ies) (note: one bank account per currency)

More generally, any company must inform Genève Aéroport of any changes to its details during the contract period.
