GENEVA, 6 March 2023 – United Airlines is marking 20 years of its nonstop service between Geneva and New York/Newark. Since its launch in March 2003, the airline has carried over 1.7 million customers on more than 12,000 flights on that route.

The Geneva-New York/Newark flight is operated by United’s premium Boeing 767-300 aircraft, featuring 16 additional United PolarisSM business class seats – a more than 50 percent increase in all-aisle-access seating – bringing the total premium cabin seat count to 46. The aircraft also features 22 United Premium PlusSM seats, 43 Economy PlusSM seats and 56 United EconomySM seats.

United Premium Plus features a spacious seat with more legroom, elbow room and recline than a standard Economy Plus or economy seat, as well as a Sunday Riley amenity kit and a Saks Fifth Avenue blanket and plush pillow.
United Economy Plus offers added legroom and increased personal space. Located near the front of the economy cabin, the seats give the added benefit of a swifter exit from the plane on arrival. Economy Plus seating is available on all trans-Atlantic flights.
United Economy offers complimentary food, soft drinks, juices, beer and wine, tea, coffee and inflight entertainment. On most aircraft, seats feature an adjustable headrest and a personal on-demand entertainment system.
