New "Transports Counters" concession as of 01.01.2022

03.12.2021

Genève Aéroport is pleased to announce that it will be operating a "Transports Counters" concession for the sale of tickets and ground transport services, essentially regular coach services to/from Genève Aéroport, from 01.01.2022  for a period of 4 years.

This new concession, focused on ground transport services, takes over part of the responsibilities of the current "Visitors Center" concession, managed by the company HelvéCie, which expires on 31.12.2021

Following an official publication in the FAO in August, and then a full tender procedure, the Geneva-based company Odier Excursions was selected to operate these "Transports Counters", located inside the "Visitors Centre" area of Genève Aéroport (international sector, public area of the terminal on arrival level).

The main objective of these "Transports Counters", which are open, under normal conditions, 7 days a week, every day of the year, is to facilitate the transfer of travellers arriving at Genève Aéroport to ground transport services (buses, trains) to the cities and resorts of the region (Switzerland, France), directly linked to the activities and air traffic of Genève Aéroport.

The information offered by the "Transports Counters" will cover both the indication of departure locations on the airport site, the distribution and confirmation of timetables, and the direct sale of transport tickets, for all ground transporters with a permit to serve Genève Aéroport.

Potential partners, carriers and other companies, are invited to contact Odier Excursions SA directly for all questions relating to representation and resale agreements.

Genève Aéroport is looking forward to the success of this concession, which is intended to serve the intermodality of the airport platform by contributing to the development of public transport to/from Genève Aéroport.

NB: Please note that the "Information" section, managed directly by Geneva Airport, remains present and independent within the Visitors Center.
