From 1st October, you can connect to the Internet free of charge from Geneva International Airport.
Depending on whether you surf from your laptop or your PDA, you will be taken to an appropriately formatted ergonomic and user-friendly home page. You will then be invited to select the "Free WiFi GVA” free network. All you need to do is provide your mobile number to receive an access code immediately by SMS. The code allows you one hour of connection time free of charge. The home page is available in French, German, English and Italian.
Free Wi-Fi was something many passengers, airport visitors and users asked for regularly, as emerged from recent customer satisfaction surveys. The Management of Geneva International Airport therefore decided to respond positively to the request. The free service does have a cost, of course, but the company will bear it as part of the extension of its service offering.
This new service was introduced in collaboration with Swisscom, which is responsible for operating the service.
The normal Swisscom Hotspot is still available. Passengers with a Swisscom subscription, a prepaid product (ValueCard / CreditCard) or a business communications solution can continue to use it without limitation.
As a result, Geneva Airport is connecting its users with the whole world even more completely... by air and via the airwaves!
