A bold limited-edition collection using the iconic artwork of the influential American pop artist.
In honour of the late artist and cultural icon, Keith Haring, Caran d’Ache is set to collaborate with the Keith Haring Studio on an exciting new special edition collection of art and writing products. The collection reflects the values and visions shared by the artist and the Swiss brand, paying tribute to the world of Keith Haring.
A source of inspiration for over 100 years, Caran d’Ache celebrates love, art and creativity with an original “Caran d’Ache + Keith Haring” collection. Each of the six Swiss Made creations expresses a universal language and promotes an important message:
art for all. A value that Caran d’Ache shares with Keith Haring who, inspired by the graffiti artists whose marks covered the city’s subway cars, began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panels. Not only was Haring able to reach a large and diverse audience with his subway drawings, but, eventually, the subway became, as Haring said, a “laboratory” for working out his ideas.
At the centre of this collection is one of the artist’s best-known drawings: two figures carrying a red heart in their outstretched hands, present on each of the product’s boxes.
