By becoming the direct publisher of this rebranded and relooked travelling magazine, Genève Aéroport assumes editorial responsibility and the administrative management of this first issue - in bilingual French/English version - with strong external collaboration, especially for the writing of articles, graphic design and printing.
The purpose of Take Off is to continue as a travelling magazine in paper format, distributed in the terminal and boarding lounges using new displays. The edition of 30'000 copies is also distributed to a selection of travel agencies in French-speaking Switzerland and neighbouring France. Editorial focus is clearly on the promotion of new destinations served by direct flights from Geneva, a detailed report on Ethiopia and the new direct flight, three times a week, to Addis Ababa.
Take Off also wishes to facilitate our customers/passengers’ holidays, thanks to practical advice and brief news on the services and facilities of Genève Aéroport.
For this, the magazine is the perfect complementary tool in our marketing strategy, which relies on the communication of the travel offer, and includes the new online inspirational platform L’Evasion www.gva.ch/levasion and other media (website, newsletter) and events (Salon Envol - the flight show whose next edition will take place on 10 February 2019).
If successful, the goal is to continue with two to three editions per year, which would allow us to keep up with our news and, of course, the readers and potential advertisers’ interests.
