Opening of the Ljubljana-Geneva line by Adria Airways

Adria Airways, the Slovenia national company, announced the launch of the Ljubljana-Geneva line starting 25 March 2018, to serve the two cities three times per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

Monday and Tuesday flights are scheduled to leaving Geneva at 8.20 pm to arrive in Ljubljana at 9.35 pm (the other way: departure from Ljubljana at 5.55 pm, arrival in Geneva at 7.20 pm). The Thursday flight will leave Geneva in the morning at 10.05 to arrive in the Slovenian capital at 11.20 am (the other way: departure from Ljubljana at 07.05 am, arrival in Geneva at 8.30 am).

This direct link opens new prospects to discover Slovenia and its many attributes. Nestled between the Alps and the Mediterranean, Slovenia offers enchanting landscapes and a capital city with many facets. In addition to its baroque style and a picturesque castle, Ljubljana will also be an ideal starting point to explore the pearls of the North coast of the Adriatic Sea, thousands of fascinating caves scattered throughout the country or the Gulf of Trieste.

The opening of this new route reinforces the Balkan destinations from Genève-Aéroport and will allow, through the network of Adria Airways, a member of Star Alliance, to reach many cities in this region such as Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Pristina, Tirana, Podgorica and Skopje.
