The opening of the Altitude restaurant this Wednesday, 26 November 2008, will mark a new and important phase of the renovation program for Geneva International Airport's restaurant and bar areas, which started in late 2007.
The Altitude has taken its place on the site of the former terrace of the restaurants building, and its vast windows now offer a magnificent and unimpeded view over the apron, the runway and the Jura!
Whether in the "lounge" with its comfortable armchairs, the bar and bistro area, or the restaurant corner, you can enjoy fine cuisine devised by the Michelin-award winning chefs Gilles Dupont, Thomas Byrne and Fabien Legon. A true invitation to culinary discovery and also, given the decor, an invitation to travel! Open from 07:00 to 23:00, the Altitude will offer hot meals until 22:00.
Its refined surroundings are also perfect for holding private or business receptions, because the Altitude has seven fully scalable conference rooms, capable of accommodating up to 200 people and equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology. The restaurant is managed by the Swiss company SSP (Select Service Partner), an international company specializing in catering on transport sites, already present in Switzerland, including Geneva.
Just as GVA has set its sights on doing, the Altitude enables the Airport to offer its passengers, its partners and its visitors greater choice and more flavours...
