With "Clean Energy 2000", the second world congress on energy and the environment, being held this week at the Geneva International Conference Centre, Geneva International Airport is continuing its own efforts to help the environment by making parking spaces for electric vehicles available to Airport users.
As of this week, in fact, three spaces have been reserved for users of electric vehicles, on the third level of the P1 long-term underground car park located in front of the terminal. They are equipped with electric power points that can be used free of charge. Located near the lifts, next to the spaces reserved for handicapped drivers, the parking bays are easy to identify by signboards with a very clear special logo.
We take the opportunity with this release to remind you that Geneva International Airport very much intends to show an example, because it is already using electric vehicles - two cars and two scooters - that are proving highly satisfactory. Also, as part of its environmental policy, Geneva International Airport will continue its efforts to use wherever possible vehicles that are as environment-friendly as possible.
