Sanitary measures at the airport

Numerous measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and visitors of Genève Aéroport.

  • Passengers have access to disinfectant dispensers at key points.
  • The counters are equipped with Plexiglas, particularly in the following areas: check-in, Visitors Centre, security controls, GVAssistance reception.
  • Ground markings with stickers and billboards in the queues remind us of the social distances.

Wearing a mask

Since 1 April 2022, wearing a mask is no longer compulsory at Genève Aéroport.

Some airlines impose the mask on board their planes. Please check with your airline before departure.

Contactless services

Online duty free
The Inflyter application allows travellers to make their duty free purchases online and to collect their orders from the shop or directly at the gate within 30 minutes before boarding.

Priority Lane
The Priority Lane gives you priority access to the security checkpoint without going through the traditional queue.

Contactless payments
In cafés, restaurants and shops, use the contactless function of your bank card to pay for your purchases.

Access to cafés, restaurants and shops at the airport

As of 17 February 2022, a COVID certificate is no longer required to visit airport restaurants and cafés.

The majority of shops and restaurants at Genève Aéroport are open. However, opening hours are subject to change and are indicated directly at the points of sale.
