  • easyJet is reinforcing its policy of flexibility for flights this summer: passengers will be able to book their tickets with confidence and modify them in the eventuality of a change in their holiday program.

  • For flights scheduled this summer, easyJet passengers can change their flights at no additional cost, up to 2 hours before departure, and for all destinations on sale.

  • Any passenger whose trip is affected by travel restrictions or compulsory quarantine may be reimbursed, even if the flight is maintained.

  • easyJet continues to offer new destinations within its domestic and European network, so that everyone can enjoy their vacation this summer or reunite with their loved ones.

  • From Geneva, easyJet is offering two new routes this summer to Antalya (Turkey) and Lamezia Terme (Italy).

This summer, all easyJet passengers will enjoy unprecedented flexibility: they will be able to change their ticket at no additional cost up to 2 hours before departure. Unlike policies implemented by other airlines, this offer applies to all flights, with no date or destination conditions.

Passengers will be able to exchange their tickets for all easyJet flights currently available until September 2022 to any of the many destinations offered by easyJet across 35 countries in Europe, North Africa or Middle East. Passengers will be able to easily change their flight in the eventuality of travel restrictions or the implementation of quarantine measures on the outward or return trip.

easyJet continues to offer reimbursement for those affected by local lockdowns or travel restrictions, even if booked flights are maintained. easyJet extends this measure to people who must comply with quarantine measures. The flexibility provided by this solution allows each traveller to book their flight with confidence.

The easyJet Flexibility Guarantee includes:

  • The freedom to change - this summer, all passengers can change their flight free of charge up to two hours before departure. Unlike other airlines, easyJet offers a free reservation modification valid on all flights for sale and for all destinations in the easyJet network, excluding the fare difference between the two tickets. Changes to reservations can be made easily via the "Manage my reservations" tab and on the company app. Requests for changes can be made before 30 September 2021 included.

  • Money-back guarantee - in the event of a flight cancellation, passengers can request a refund quickly and easily via the "Manage my reservations" tab or on the easyJet app. Passengers whose flights have been cancelled can also request a credit or a new reservation for a future flight.

  • Protection in the event of travel restrictions - in the eventuality of lockdown, travel restrictions or imposed quarantine measures, passengers will be able to modify their reservation free of charge or request a credit note, up to 2 hours before departure, even if their flight is operated by the company. As part of a lockdown making all travel illegal, passengers can also request a refund of their ticket. If hotel quarantine measures are imposed, passengers can request a refund within four weeks of departure if the measures are still in effect. Passengers can request a free reservation change, credit or refund by contacting easyJet customer service. These measures apply for all flights operated up to and including 30 September 2021.

The safety and well-being of our passengers and our teams remain our top priority. The company continues to comply with strict health safety measures, corresponding to the recommendations of the competent authorities. These measures include in particular the daily disinfection of devices with products ensuring their protection against the coronavirus for 24 hours. Wearing a mask is compulsory for passengers and crew. All of the devices used by easyJet are equipped with HEPA filters, similar to those used in hospitals, which filter out 99.97% of airborne particles, including viruses and bacteria.
