For many people, holidays and travel plans had to be cancelled in the short term. However, after the crisis, travel will gradually resume and some may already be thinking about it. On our site, you can consult without commitment the direct air offers from Genève Aéroport.
For those who would already like to book their next trips, like other airlines, the two main airlines in Geneva – easyJet and SWISS – have put their offers online for the coming months with very advantageous conditions of modification and cancellation. It is therefore possible to plan your trip ahead without taking any financial risks and with peace of mind should these arrangements have to be changed.
For example, easyJet has already made available its winter schedule online across its entire network, giving its clients the possibility of booking flights up to 28 February 2021. This early sale allows passengers to modify their existing plans or to book a new trip without any change fees, including for the Christmas and February 2021 holidays. All clients can now modify the dates of their next flights. The exemption from change fees applies to existing and new reservations, until further notice.
Due to the exceptional circumstances of the current crisis, SWISS is making concessions so that its clients have maximum flexibility in their travel plans. Air tickets can be changed regardless of the fare selected, including the Light fare with hand luggage only. Regardless of this fare structure, passengers whose flights have been cancelled or unused (until 19 April 2020) can keep their reservation and do not have to commit to a new travel date. When making reservations, tickets retain their validity and value and can be used for another trip, by 30 April 2021 included.
