Cyprus Airways: return of a direct flight between Geneva and Larnaca

The company Cyprus Airways announces the return of a direct flight between Geneva and Larnaca from 10 July to 23 October 2020. The airline will operate every Friday a flight taking off from Geneva at 16:55 to arrive at 21:35 on the island of Cyprus. The return from Larnaca is scheduled at 13:00 to land at 16:05 in Geneva. An Airbus A319 with 144 Economy seats will be assigned to this air link.

This Summer 2020 season, the airline also plans to operate flights from Larnanca to Greece: Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Skiathos. In the Middle East, the company resumes operations bound for Tel Aviv (Israel).

Brief history of the company
Established in 2016 and based at Larnaca International Airport, Cyprus Airways launched operations in June 2017, taking over the brand of the national airline. This relaunch of Cyprus Airways is a significant step for the aviation industry and for the country as a whole. With a new visual identity marking the start of a new era, Cyprus Airways has developed all the skills necessary for a safe and trusted airline. In June 2018, Cyprus Airways successfully passed the IATA (International Air Transport Association) operations safety audit, one of the highest standards in the world. In October 2018, the company became a member of the same association.
