The low fare airline WizzAir has just launched this week a new route between Geneva and Bucharest. The service is operated twice a week by an Airbus A320, with a capacity of 180 seats.
The timetable offers a departure from Geneva on Monday and Friday at 08:15, with arrival in Bucharest at 11:40, local time. On the way back, flights leave Romania at 06:05 and land in Geneva at 07:40.
Bucharest downtown is located 18 kilometres away from Henri Coanda airport. A regular shuttle bus and taxis are the most convenient transfer options.
There is a strong market demand between Geneva and Bucharest, with a good potential for both the business and leisure segments. In passenger numbers, this route is today the largest unserved market from Geneva.
WizzAir is the largest low-fare airline in Central Europe and operates a fleet of approximately 40 Airbus A320 aircrafts, all of which are equipped with 180 comfortable leather seats.
