United Airlines celebrated the 10th anniversary of service between Geneva and its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, with a gala dinner at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva on March 14.

The anniversary dinner was hosted by James P. Mueller, United’s Vice President Atlantic & Pacific Sales, with over 80 guests in attendance including travel agents and corporate customers from across Switzerland. United inaugurated its Geneva-New York/Newark daily nonstop service on Mar. 6, 2003 and has offered nonstop service from Geneva to its Washington hub, Dulles International Airport, since April 2009. "We thank our customers for supporting our Geneva service over the past decade," said Mueller. "Our success in Switzerland results from strong working relationships with corporate customers and the travel trade community as well as the dedication of our local sales and operations teams."
