SWISS is expanding its range of flights from Geneva for the 2013 summer season by starting a route to Porto. The flights will be operated twice a week by planes from the Airbus family.
As part of the ongoing development of its operations at its western-Swiss base, SWISS is consolidating its position on the French-speaking market by expanding its network. The national airline is increasing the number of flights from Genève Aéroport and adding Porto to its portfolio of destinations.
Flights offered by SWISS between Geneva and Porto for the summer of 2013:
Friday (from 28 June)
- flight LX2314 : leaving GVA at 17:05, arriving in OPO at 18:15
- flight LX2315 : leaving OPO at 18:55, arriving in GVA at 22:05
Saturday (from 29 June)
- flight LX2314 : leaving GVA at 17:20, arriving in OPO at 18:30
- flight LX2315 : leaving OPO at 19:10, arriving in GVA at 22:20
Olbia and Catania will also be on offer to SWISS customers from Geneva as of May 2013 and are added to the range of SWISS flights in southern Europe that already includes Nice, Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Athens. SWISS has direct flights from its western-Swiss base to 13 destinations, including one intercontinental flight to New York John F. Kennedy Airport. 27 other destinations are available under code-sharing arrangements.
