SWISS is expanding its route network from Geneva by opening a route to Nice.
The connection, by an Airbus A319, will initially be twice daily.
Alongside the development of its program of intercontinental flights, SWISS is consolidating its position on the Geneva market by extending its network and increasing the number of flights from Geneva. The effect of the new route will be to increase the number of SWISS planes based at Geneva Airport to ten. The number of flights between Geneva and Nice will rise to three per day for the 2012 summer program.

In addition, a third daily service to Madrid in the middle of the day was introduced from today, as was a second daily flight to Athens in the evening.
From its base in Geneva, SWISS, together with its partners, flies to a total of 34 destinations in 20 countries.
