Pegasus Airlines flies to Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen Airport) from GVA


On 21 June 2014, Pegasus Airlines, Turkey’s main budget airline, is launching direct flights from Geneva to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport (located on the Asian side).

The flights will be operated 4 times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays:

  • outward flight > leaves Geneva at 14:30
  • return flight > leaves Istanbul at 11:40

Istanbul is the country’s largest city with more than 14 million inhabitants and is one of the largest cities in Europe. It is also Turkey’s main economic centre. It has been on UNESCO’s world heritage list since 1985.

Pegasus links Geneva to 20 destinations by connected flights
The new flight means it will be possible to reach 15 destinations in Turkey easily with Pegasus Airlines (Adana, Izmir, Kayseri, Antalya, Bodrum, Diyarbakır, Dalaman, Ankara, Gaziantep, Hatay, Konya, Malatya, Samsun, Trabzon, and Sivas) and also 5 international destinations (Doha, Ercan (Northern Cyprus), Bishkek, Kharkiv, and Tel Aviv).
