Traffic is picking up again at Geneva International Airport

21.04.2010

The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) reopened Swiss airspace to commercial traffic, activity is gradually picking up again at Geneva International Airport (GVA).

Departures by air from Geneva International Airport (GVA) resumed yesterday morning at 08:00.

However, disruptions may still occur in the coming days.

Travellers due to fly from Geneva today are invited to contact their airline to find out if their flight will in fact operate.
The departures board is also available on the first page of the site www.gva.ch.

Passengers should not go to the airport unless their flight is actually operating and they hold a reservation.
