Finnair celebrates its 90th birthday

Finnair - the Flag Carrier of Finland - is celebrating its 90th birthday this year and offers more than ever a smooth express lane from Geneva to Asia. Via the Helsinki hub, 11 year-round destinations are served: Bangkok, Beijing, Chongqing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo as well as two seasonal summer-schedule-connections to Xi’an and Hanoi.

Finnair has one of the youngest fleets in the business, with an average of 7 years. It has been ranked “Best Airline in Northern Europe” for the second year in a row in 2013 and the “World’s Number One On-Time Airline” for two consecutive months. Finnair is member of oneworld alliance, which has been named “Best Airline Alliance 2013”.

The Helsinki hub is one of the fastest and easiest airports worldwide. Everything has been designed to make the transfer as smooth, swift and as pleasant as possible, within a single well-structured terminal.

Thanks to the shape of the Earth, the polar route from Europe to Asia via Helsinki is much shorter, than any other route. From Geneva Finnair offers two daily nonstop connections to Helsinki (departure from GVA 10.55 and 19.00; departure from HEL at 08.05 and 16.10).
