Darwin Airline, a Swiss regional airline, and Genève Aéroport announce the official launch of the new Geneva - Cambridge route on 2 September 2013, with special rates from 217 Swiss francs per person round trip.
Maurizio Merlo, Darwin Airline CEO, says: “We are pleased with this new agreement with Geneva airport, which is a strategic partner for our expansion in Europe. The route will allow us to bring these two major European cities – Geneva, an important financial and international platform, and Cambridge, home to the fastest economic growth in the United Kingdom – closer together.”
The new route will be operated on a code-share basis with Alitalia using Darwin Airline 50-seat SAAB 2000 aircraft. Thanks to the new base at Cambridge airport, Darwin Airline customers will have access to many destinations serviced via the SkyTeam hubs, which include the Air France-KLM global network.
The schedule calls for six weekly flights between Cambridge and Geneva from 3 September to 26 October 2013, as follows:
Geneva > Cambridge: flight F7 559, departing Tuesdays and Thursdays at 16:35, arriving at 17:25
