Belavia launches direct flights Geneva-Minsk


For the Winter season, Geneva will be connected directly with Belarus. Starting on December 17, 2013, Belavia – Belarusian Airlines will launch a new scheduled route from Geneva to Minsk. The flights will be operated 3 times per week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday). Depending on the date, the aircraft used will be a Canadair CRJ-200 (50 seats), an Embraer E-175 (76 seats) or a Boeing B- 737 (various configurations).

This new direct service will be particularly interesting for the business and diplomatic traffic and exchanges between Belarus and the international community in Geneva. Also it will provide a comfortable link with Minsk hosting in May 2014 the World Ice Hockey Championship. Minsk it is also a suitable transit point for travel to Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia.
