SWISS continues to develop its summer routes from Genève Aéroport with the addition of Ajaccio to its portfolio of destinations. Flights to the Corsican town will be operated twice weekly between 29 June and 7 September 2013 using a 97-seat Avro RJ100.
With Olbia, Catania and Porto, Corsica becomes the fourth summer destination serviced by SWISS in 2013. The Swiss national company thus reinforces its position in the “leisure” segment in Western Switzerland and neighbouring France.
Seats can be reserved on swiss.com at the all-inclusive one-way fare of 89 Swiss francs (international supplement and airport tax included). Fares for return flights start at 189 Swiss francs (international supplement and airport tax included).
From its base in Western Switzerland, SWISS flies direct to 16 destinations; this includes one intercontinental route (New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport). Passengers can fly to 24 other destinations under code-sharing arrangements.
