New non-stop scandinavian airlines flight

SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System) and Geneva International Airport announce the launch of a new daily route between Geneva and Helsinki starting 6 October 2003.

The flight will be operated by an AIR BOTNIA (KF) 79-seater AVRO RJ 85 aircraft: Air Botnia has been a Finnish member of the Scandinavian Airlines group since 1998.

Geneva is the third destination served in Europe by AIR BOTNIA, after Brussels and Dusseldorf.

This direct flight from Geneva will allow a high-speed connection to Finland from the whole of French-speaking Switzerland and also from the nearby areas of France. In market studies, Helsinki was the most sought-after European destination not served until now from Geneva International Airport.

For SAS and its AIR BOTNIA subsidiary, this is the sixth daily regular service from Geneva International Airport.
