Flybaboo will fly to Corsica and Croatia this Summer

Seasonal flights to Ajaccio, Figari and Dubrovnik

The Swiss airline Flybaboo is announcing today the opening of two seasonal routes between Geneva and Corsica and also a connection to Dubrovnik, code-sharing with Darwin Airlines. From 19 June to 2 September, Flybaboo will operate three flights a week between Geneva and Figari (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) and from 23 June to 1 September, the airline will fly to Ajaccio once a week on Saturday. Geneva and Dubrovnik will be connected twice a week (Thursday and Sunday) from 24 May to 30 September.

Flybaboo already operates charter flights to Corsica for VT Vacances and Frantour, which offer inclusive stays.

Seasonal flights to Saint-Tropez and Ibiza will resume on 16 May, and this year Flybaboo will extend the season until the end of October. In addition, a special flight to Ibiza will be chartered for the opening of the Space Club on 2 June this year. Services to the Sardinian city of Olbia will resume starting from 20 June.

Following a recapitalisation of the company in October 2006, Flybaboo formulated a new development strategy, the result of which has been a rapid acceleration of its growth since the beginning of the year. After opening the Geneva-Marseilles and Geneva-Naples routes on 25 March this year, and stepping up the number of regular flights to Valencia (Spain), the airline will fly to Biarritz from 21 June this year.

From June onwards, Flybaboo will thus connect 15 cities to Geneva, to which will be added other destinations, particularly following the delivery in August of a second Dash8-Q400.
