As part of their preparations for EURO 2008, the Swiss Air Force will be making a number of training flights in the Geneva region and, more particularly, near Geneva International Airport.
It is envisaged that the training flights will be made by various types of aircraft, particularly by F/A-18s, which will make low-altitude passes over the airport.
The training flights will take place on (local time):
- Monday 14 April 2008 (between 14:00 and 15:00);
- Tuesday 15 April 2008 (between 13:30 and 14:30);
- Wednesday 16 April 2008 (between 08:30 and 10:00).
These schedules are subject to last minute changes depending on the circumstances.
