Geneva Airport is delighted that an agreement satisfactory to all parties has been reached, with the support of State Councillor Nathalie Fontanet, and that airport operations are resuming, allowing our passengers to fly normally.
The strike was definitively lifted as soon as the agreement was signed. The agreement takes account of the decision taken on 29 June 2023 by the AIG Board of Directors to adopt a new salary policy.
Geneva Airport is therefore able to confirm that airport operations on 1 July 2023, the key holiday departure date, will go ahead as planned.
We recommend that travelers check with their airline company. Indeed, repercussions are to be feared due to the delays accumulated the day before. Geneva Airport reiterates its apologies to the passengers and their families affected.
