On Thursday, 17 February, the Federal Council eased the health measures and validated the end of the COVID certificate in various places and establishments, by removing the obligation to wear a mask (except in aircraft, buses and public transport as well as in healthcare institutions). Border measures have also been lifted.
For Genève Aéroport passengers, many restrictions are lifted. When entering Switzerland, it is no longer necessary to complete a form (ePFL), or to provide proof of recovery, vaccination or a negative screening test. From now on, all restaurants are accessible without a COVID certificate. However, wearing a mask remains compulsory from the boarding gate to the aircraft and from the aircraft to the entrance to airport buildings. Travelling becomes much easier!
Genève Aéroport is delighted to announce these positive developments and encourages respect for barrier gestures - hand hygiene and safe distance - because the virus is still circulating. Prudence and individual responsibility remain the order of the day.
