Maintenance flights at Genève Aéroport

21.04.2020

Regular aircraft maintenance is essential for passenger safety, comprising stages in the workshop and tests in the air. Even when the fleet is not active, maintenance operations are required to ensure that aircraft continue to meet safety standards.

easyJet will continue its maintenance flights departing from Genève Aéroport.

easyJet is therefore continuing maintenance on its planes, with aircraft taking off from Geneva, completing a standard flight route and then landing again on Genève Aéroport’s runway. Other aircraft in the easyJet fleet will depart from Basel and land in Geneva to undergo maintenance work that cannot be carried out elsewhere.
The first of these flights took place in the late morning of Tuesday 21 April. Maintenance flights will continue over the coming weeks until scheduled flights resume.

easyJet has 18 aircraft parked on Genève Aéroport’s apron.
