From 31 March 2019 on, Genève Aéroport will publish on its new website the summer servicing with some novelties, including Kenya, Croatia and Poland. Forty-nine airlines will connect Geneva to 120 destinations.
Starting on 13 June a new long-haul flight of Kenya Airways will link four times a week Geneva to Nairobi, hub for a large part of sub-Saharan African countries on the African continent. This new flight will supplement the existing long-haul flights to Addis Ababa (Ethiopian Airlines), Montreal (Air Canada), New York JFK (Swiss), New York Newark (United Airlines), Beijing (Air China), Washington (United Airlines) and several Persian Gulf destinations.
Main operator in Geneva with 45% market share, easyJet completes its network to Pula in Croatia, twice a week, and to Warsaw (Poland), four times a week, a destination launched in the 2018-2019 winter season.
SWISS will expand its network with six destinations: Alicante (Spain/Costa Blanca), Brindisi (Italy/Apulia), Faro (Portugal/Algarve), Ibiza (Spain/Balearics), Larnaca (Cyprus), and Mykonos (Greece/Cyclades). Since shortly, the Caspian Sea is also available twice a week: Azerbaijan Airlines offers flights to Baku departing from Geneva.
Overall, approximately 49 airlines will connect Geneva to 120 destinations during the 2019 summer season. The offer is upgradable and subject to change.
