Genève Aéroport confirmed once again as the 'most efficient airport in Europe'

01.07.2013

For the fourth year in a row, the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) experts have awarded Genève Aéroport the title of the most efficient airport in its category.

After three initial distinctions obtained in 2010, 2011 and 2012, Genève Aéroport has just been recognised once again by the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS)* experts as the most efficient European airport in the category of airports handling less than 15 million passengers a year for 2013.

The "Airport Efficiency Excellence Award" rewards Genève Aéroport on the basis of an analysis of many parameters, among them the number and quality of infrastructure facilities available, the diversity of the airport’s users, the level of charges, the volume of commercial activities, and also profit or loss.

"This fourth distinction we have been awarded shows that the foundations on which Genève Aéroport is developing are durable and that our model is a solid one", said General Manager Robert Deillon, welcoming the result.

Pour la quatrième année consécutive, les experts de l’Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) ont décerné à Genève Aéroport, le titre d’aéroport le plus efficient dans sa catégorie.
