For some years now, Genève Aéroport has provided the Geneva Red Cross (Croix-Rouge genevoise) with free locations for the installation of large transparent collection boxes on its premises.
These collection boxes play a strategic role: they enable the Red Cross to raise thousands of francs every year while simultaneously ensuring high visibility. They represent the Geneva Red Cross, one of Geneva's earliest icons in this mecca of transit tourism and business relationships. Currently, the Geneva Red Cross has four collection boxes on Genève Aéroport.

Collection box receipts have grown steadily since 2010, increasing almost threefold between 2010 and 2014. There are several reasons behind this growth:
the redesigning of the collection boxes in 2010: larger, transparent and more easily identifiable
the installation of a fourth collection box in the arrivals area in 2013
Sharp increase in passenger numbers over the last five years: more than 15 million in 2014
The monies raised are used entirely to fund the local activities of the Geneva Red Cross, which assists children, young people, families and vulnerable seniors in Geneva.
The Geneva Red Cross and Genève Aéroport thank you for your generous donations!
