Geneva International Airport and the G8 Summit

The management of Geneva International Airport announces :

The arrival, and subsequently the departure, of the delegations attending the G8 Summit in Evian will give rise to considerable activity in the air at Geneva International Airport from Saturday 31 May 2003 to Tuesday 3 June 2003.

In particular, there will be a real “ballet” of helicopters between the Airport, on the one hand, and Evian and Lausanne on the other. Some movements of State aircraft, duly authorised by the Confederation, may take place at night.

Geneva International Airport, aware of the disturbance this may cause those living in the vicinity, is sure that it can count on their understanding in these exceptional circumstances, and would like to thank them accordingly.
