New Director of Human Resources at Genève Aéroport


Hired as of 1 November 2017, Ms Jessica Silberman Dunant will officially take office as Director of Human Resources at Genève Aéroport on 1 December 2017. She replaces Mr Olivier Delétraz, who will leave at the end of November having asserted his rights to retirement.

Starting 1 November 2017, the management team of Genève Aéroport will expand to include Ms Jessica Silberman Dunant in the position of Director of Human Resources. She has previously worked for various companies and non-governmental organisations, and in particular in the position of Human Resources and Internal Communication Director Europe for the Geneva subsidiary of CHS Inc

Ms Silberman Dunant has previously held other senior management positions in organisations such as ICRC, International Committee of the Red Cross, Bunge SA, GenevaFirmenich, Net Expat and Credit Suisse.
Of American origin, Ms Jessica Silberman Dunant has spent almost her entire life in Switzerland and is fluent in  French, German and Swiss-German.
She has proven experience in human resources management within Swiss and multinational companies at both strategic and operational levels.
She is particularly focused on people and career management and pursues her actions in complete synergy with her management colleagues, heads of departments and services.

Ms Jessica Silberman Dunant got a university degree in economics and social sciences at the University of Geneva and completed various complementary training in other structures, such as IDC (Institute of Coaching of Geneva), IMD of Lausanne and London Business School.

She will replace Mr Olivier Delétraz, who is now retiring after more than 17 years of service as Genève Aéroport Head of Human Resources.
Mr Delétraz will ensure the transition throughout the month of November.

Mrs Jessica Silberman Dunant is married and has three children.

Her appointment comes at a time when Genève Aéroport rethinks its operational model,now structured around two business units (Operations, Commercial & Development), management units (Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Infrastructure) support units (Communication, Environment and Sustainable Development) a General Secretariat and Legal affairs.

At the dawn of its centennial year, Genève Aéroport must consider its development taking into account the agreement on objectives assigned to the airport by the State of Geneva, the strategic targets recently set by the new management, the values developed by the company’s employees and the challenges that this infrastructure will face in the future.

Genève Aéroport is an autonomous public entity currently employing more than 1,000 people.
Around 200 companies are based on the airport platform employing nearly 11,000 people.
