How much does a resaPark booking cost?
The resaPark booking fee, regardless of the number of days reserved, is CHF 20 .- payable by credit card, using the internet booking system.

How much does parking cost in the resaPark area on level -2 of the P1 car park?
Parking fees, which are separate from your resaPark booking fee of CHF 20.-, are payable directly at the Airport on your return, and depend on how long you parked and the current P1 car park rates.

How do I pay the parking fees in the resaPark area on level -2 of the P1 car park?
When you arrive at the airport, insert your international credit card into the machine at the P1 car park. entrance When you return, take your vehicle, leave the resaPark area, go to the machine at the P1 car park exit, and insert your credit card (the same one used on entry).
The time parked is calculated according to the P1 car park rates, and the amount is charged to your credit card.

Can I reserve a parking space in the P51 car park?
No, spaces can be reserved only in the P1 car park.

Can I book other than by Internet?
No, bookings can be made only via the Internet. Bookings cannot be made by phone or at the car parks control centre.

What are the time limits for booking?
You can book at least 24 hours, and up to 6 months, before the resaPark car park entry date and time. You book according to how long your trip will last. It is advisable to allow a resaPark booking period  from 2 hours before to 2 hours after the actual flight times.

Will I receive a confirmation of my booking?
You will be sent a confirmation, containing your access code, to the email address you gave, and by SMS if you choose that free option.

I have received no written confirmation by email or SMS, what should I do?
Please contact the car parks control centre by phone on 4122 717 70 99; based on what you tell them, they will be able to give you your code.

Getting to res@Park

How do I get to resaPark?
Once you reach the Airport, follow the "Parking P1" (P1 car park) signs.
At the P1 car park entrance, insert your credit card into the machine.
Inside the P1 car park, follow the resaPark signs to level -2.
At the entrance to the resaPark reserved spaces, use the keypad on the access machine to enter the booking number shown on the “booking number” you received by email and/or SMS.
The access barrier will open; park your vehicle in any vacant space.

What do I do if I lose the access code for my booking?
If you realise you have lost it before you leave, you can either access your user profile online and find your booking code or contact the car parks control centre by telephone (tel. +4122 717 70 99); if you give them your details, they will be able to give you your code.
If you only find out when you get to the Airport, in front of the machine at the entrance, contact the car parks control centre (intercom located on the machine); give them your details, and they will be able to give you your code.

Can I book if I don’t have a credit card?
No. Unfortunately, only Visa and Master Card credit cards are accepted as a means of payment.

Changes / cancellation / refund of resaPark booking

Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, subject to a cancellation fee of 50%. A refund of CHF 10 .- (~ € 7 .-) will be credited directly to your credit card. If the cancellation is less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, no refund will be payable.

Can I change my booking?
Yes, you can change it up to 24 hours before the entry time, subject to a cancellation fee of 50%. A refund of CHF 10 .- (~ € 7 .-) will be credited directly to your credit card. You must then make a new reservation, regardless of  the earlier one. If the change is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, no refund will be payable.

If I fail to show on the day of the booking, do I get a refund?
No, you cannot get a refund. Your booking is guaranteed until 4 hours after the entry time. Failure to show at the car park at the time booked (with a grace period of +4) is treated as a cancellation. After those 4 hours, your reservation is automatically cancelled and no refund is payable.

In the event of a flight cancellation or schedule change, am I entitled to a refund?
Reservation of a resaPark parking space is a service that is separate from and independent of the purchase of a plane ticket from an airline or a travel agency. Since flight cancellations or schedule changes depend solely on the airlines, resaPark reservation fees cannot be refunded.
However, under resaPark’s general terms and conditions, a cancellation or change made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time of entry to the resaPark car park is allowed and entitles the user to a refund of 50%, i.e. CHF 10.-.

N.B. To be able to change/cancel your reservations you must first have opened an account. This will enable you to consult your past record with resaPark and to be identified when you make later reservations.

Res@Park additional charges

In what situations would I face additional charges?
At the exit from the "resaPark" area, you have to enter your booking code (the same one as on entry). The system compares the actual date and time of your parking with your resaPark booking. If you have run over time, or are leaving early, you have to pay the amount of the additional charges by credit card. However, there is a grace period of 4 hours before, and up to 4 hours after, the scheduled exit time. Outside that period (more than 4 hours early or late), you are asked to pay "additional charges" by credit card, from the scheduled exit time.

How much are the additional charges?
If you leave “early”, a one-off amount of CHF 20.- (~ € 14.-), regardless of the number of hours and/or days before the 4 hour grace period.
If you leave "late", CHF 20.- (~ € 14.-) per 24 hour period started, from the scheduled exit time.

How should I pay the additional charges?
You must insert your credit card into the machine at the exit from the resaPark area. The amount of the additional charge is then charged to your credit card.

Avantages reductions on res@Park

Can I make use of AVANTAGES discount?
Yes, you can make use of Avantages reductions on parking fees (P1 car park), but not on resaPark booking fees. See the conditions for AVANTAGES discount.

What do I have to do to obtain the AVANTAGES discount?
You need to fill out the AVANTAGES form on our website to receive printable vouchers by e-mail. If you meet the stated requirements (cantons/departments of registration, 4 consecutive days parking, outside restricted periods), you should go to the car-parks control centre on the arrivals level on the day of your return with the documents requested. You will then be given the discount.

Warning:
After paying by credit card, on leaving, you must go to the "Control Centre" in the P2 car park (arrivals level), with the receipt, to get the AVANTAGES discount reimbursed.

P1 opening hours

What are the opening hours of the P1 car park that allow access to the resaPark area located on level -2 of the P1 car park?
The P1 car park is open from 04:00 to 23:30. The closing time is changed if flights are delayed.
