  2. Practical: Practical test or vetting
After successfully completing the practical test or vetting, participants are given a T licence logo and may drive alone on the apron.

In the event of failure

Practical tests

Procedure

During the theory course, participants are given a detailed explanatory memo for each apron hotspot (rules and dangers).
During the practical test, participants draw four hotspots at random and must go to each of them, explaining the dangers and the rules to be followed.
The expert will also ask candidates to go to an arbitrary plane stand.

Criteria

A list of the criteria for success is explained and presented to candidates during the theory course.
This list is used by each experts to judge success or failure in the practical test.
Experts

The practical test is supervised by a T-licensed expert approved by Genève Aéroport (AAU operational staff, and Operations Division training service staff).

Scheduling

The examination is scheduled to last for 1hr 30min (maximum).
Three days a week are reserved (time slots 08:30-10:00 / 10:30-12:00 / 13:30-15:00 / 15:30-17:00).
